It's about enabling political participation and distributing resources fairly. It recognizes that no one is safe as long as women and other marginalized groups are discriminated against and endangered. Therefore, it opposes patriarchal structures in favor of peace for all. The GWI is committed to ensuring that this has a transformative effect, i.e. is intersectional and decolonial.
