With the the adoption of a new Land Law in 2001, the Royal Goverment of Cambodia initiated a comprehensive land reform process. Guidelines for land registration strongly recommend Joint Land Titling to ensure the protection of women´s land rights in the process of registration.

In this sort film, five women, all of whom are single as a result of divorce or abandonment, describe their own experiences of the Joint Land Titling process. By giving voice to these women, we hope to contribute to improvements in the recognition and registration of women´s land rights in Cambodia.
