From 4 August until 8 August 2014 the annual human rights short course will take place on the issue of "The Role of Men and Boys in Achieving Gender Equality". Sonke Gender Justice, the Gender Unit at the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria together with the Centre for the Study of AIDS at the University of Pretoria and with the support of Irish Aid invites to this workshop on the campus of the University.
Activists already engaged in working with men and boys on topics such as "gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV and AIDS, parenthood and other issues pertaining to gender equality", are asked to apply for participation up until 2 July 2014.
