Julia Hartleb studied sociology in Jena and Lyon (B.A) as well as Madrid and Frankfurt am Main (M.A). Her main research interests were in the fields of qualitative social research, postcolonial studies and social psychology.
For several years she has been active in extracurricular political youth education work for various institutions.
At the Gunda Werner Institute, she works as a project officer for Feminist Politics.
